Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar squire (Basantapur) is one of the world heritage place of kathmandu.there is a old palace and big open squire.near the palace there is a wodden building which is built by wood of just one big Tree. thats why it called Kastha Mandap. by the name of this building, it became Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
around the squire, there is very big bell.The bell erected in 1797 AD by King Rana Bahadur Shah is rung only when worship is being offered in Degutalla temple situated nearby.
one of the world Living god KUMARI temple is also in the durbar squire area. people known as living god.living god changing after certain period.  time to time,when the living god Kumari, getting bigger, new kumari placement of her place.

 there are othere many small temple around palace and you will see very old and romantic wooden architect of the building wall and roof. if you miss to visit Kathmandu Dur bar squire , of your Nepal visit your travel will never full fill...........you will always miss this place
